I’ve a short little storyto share with you all which itself expresses my gratitude towards QSpiders.
I’m a BE Graduate passed out in 2009. It’s like almost 1 year 8 months I’m out for job hunt. 6 months back I was with an unsatisfied job and was looking out for a break into IT industry. One of my closest buddies who is currently undergoing training here (VIKAS) and one more from iGate referred me the name QSpiders. I gathered courage and resigned my job to dedicate myself completely in this training and got into QSpiders for classic package in Software Testing.
It was in the month of September, first day of mine in QSpiders and I was sitting among 100 or more new faces when I heard a whistling sound. It went on getting intense and it was this moment, “THE TESTING GURU, GIRISH SIR” made his first appearance. This one thing is enough to tell how Sir holds our attention and concentration in his class. SO IT BEGINS . . . . . . .
The first week he tore us apart and our attitude was shattered to bits and every word of his filled so much of strength and confidence in every bit of me and by the time actual course started, I was on front line in this war (JOB HUNT). It was like I was on a world (SOFTWARE TESTING) tour and the GUIDE (GIRISH SIR) took us to every corner of it and poured his years of experience on us. Throughout the Manual Testing course, whenever I went to him with the silliest doubt, he addressed it with all patience. Within no time the journey of Manual Testing ended.
Followed by this, CHETAN SIR dipped us in RDBMS concepts and SQL with Oracle. Before I tell you how I was benefitted by him I would like to add another name PRASANNA SIR. I was very bad with scripting /programming. They trained us so very well that finally I was capable to implement logic to achieve a given purpose in Oracle and with VB Scripting.
To talk about QTP, when it started, I felt like I’m in LKG and I was being taught A B C D . . . . by BHANU SIR. It was this detailed coaching of his, which got me a feeling that I’ve graduated in QTP in a short span of a month.
It was almost 6 months in QSpiders and before I could feel like I’ve forgotten initial topics, I got myself registered into PLACEMENT BATCH wherein we were made to present all topics which was monitored by the mentors HIREMATH and SANTOSH. This was the best strategy I found in QSpiders to handle our hold on subject till we are placed.
IT’S BEEN A WEEK I’M WORKING with IBM (thank you QSpiders placement wing), GUY’S I’M SO EXCITED TO SHARE WITH YOU ALL THAT ON THE FOURTH DAY OF MINE IN MY FIRST COMPANY, MY FIRST MANAGER APPRECIATED ME ON THE WAY I PRESENTED THE ASSIGNMENT IN FRONT OF THE TEAM AND HE GAVE A 100 RUPEE NOTE SIGNED BY HIM AS A TOKEN OF HIS APPRECIATION.
